| has certainly earned her name “American Spirit”. This big flashy palomino filly is the most independent horse that has been born on Folsom Ridge. Being our only foal born in 2008, after being weaned, she was raised with two foals born the previous year but you would have never known she was the “baby”. Even though she is extremely self-sufficient in the field she loves human interaction and will lead her buddies up to the barn when called and does not like her stall being passed by without getting a rub. Spirit has been handled since birth, is halter broke, trailer loads, and stands quietly for farrier and vet. She will begin her under saddle education in 2011. |
